Model United Nations

  • Model United Nations (MUN) is an international student activity at the middle school, high school, and undergraduate levels.

  • Students take on the role of nations' delegates to the United Nations and participate in simulations of UN committee meetings trying to address a particular global issue or crisis.

  • Students research their nation, research the committee topic, compose position papers, and make speeches and build coalitions in committees to get resolutions passed that reflect their nations’ positions on the issue.

  • Students participate in scrimmages and conferences.
